Guest Speaker: Andres Linhares, Esq.
Topic: "Pitfalls and Intricacies of Doing Business with Brazil" 

    Mr. Linhares began his legal career in Brazil; after he graduated cum laude from the Universidade Estacio de Sa Law School in 2003. As a partner at Linhares Advogados Associados he had the opportunity to specialize in domestic and international commercial transactions, corporate matters and civil litigation. He advised import-export multinationals with international business transactions, negotiations, commercial agreements, investment opportunities, government relations and employment matters.

    Prior to affiliating with The Victoria Law Group, Mr. Linhares obtained his Masters’ Degree in Transnational Law from the University of Miami and soon after started working as a consultant on Brazilian issues for a large international law firm in the United States.

    Mr. Linhares has experience in drafting domestic and international contracts, asset protection, assisting in Real Estate procedures and transactions, providing legal advice in corporate compliance, trade regulation issues involving Brazil, assisting in immigration visas, government relations, Brazilian immigration and transnational taxation planning and conflict of laws matters.

• Give all the tools and proper education to Brazilians in order to place them in the market place and in the American society as well.

• To work with local authorities in order to help the Brazilian community.

• To develop strategic alliances with other chambers of commerce and Brazilian groups in South Florida.
